If cost is keeping you from pursuing brain preservation, please ask. We have funds available to help, whether paying the full cost isn't possible or there are circumstances for which you need to leave more to your family.
No payment is required upfront for most preservation services. The only time that fees need to be paid in advance is for liquid nitrogen storage.
Our aid is need-based, and our goal is to make preservation possible for any member for whom cost would otherwise be a barrier. Aid can take the form of a partial discount or full coverage, depending on circumstances.
We consider your full financial picture, including assets, income, and family situation. We give particular consideration to long-term members and to those with obligations to a spouse, dependents, or other family. If you are uncertain whether you would qualify, we strongly encourage you to apply.
To begin, email hello@sparksbrain.org. We will follow up with a short set of questions about your situation and ask for some basic financial documentation. Most decisions are made within about two weeks.
All inquiries are confidential and have no effect on your membership or the services you receive.
